Kitty: Big Orange

Big Orange may be a big orange cat, but it is the pickiest cat of all.

Dried fish from anyone else, it will not touch a bite of unless it is starving.

But it wasn't born this picky.

Once it was a stray, begging for food by the water outside Weiyang City, where the fishing boats always threw it a few small fish.

Back then it would meow and roll over too, fawning for more.

But later, by the water, it met a wild man.

He liked bringing it things to eat and drink, and once he even brought two little balls of yarn.

It rubbed against his trouser legs and rolled over in front of him, but the wild man never reached out to stroke it.

He was always murmuring: must bring a betrothal gift, buy fish strung on willow... things Big Orange couldn't understand.

But one day, the wild man disappeared.

Big Orange's little brain turned it over, and it went to the most formidable pawnshop keeper in the cat world. The keeper said the wild man was dead, and his last wish before dying was to find it.

Oh, the longing went both ways. The keeper shook his head with regret.

Big Orange didn't understand, but Big Orange missed the man and wanted to see him.

So Big Orange pawned a part of itself in exchange for a small dream, one in which the man could find it.

The pawnshop keeper asked: Are you sure? From now on, fish from anyone else won't taste good anymore, you know?

Big Orange: He... didn't pick any other cat either!
