In-Game Description

Completed during the Liang dynasty of the Southern Dynasties. Emperor Wu of Liang commissioned the scholar Zhou Xingsi to compile a text by tracing the surviving calligraphy of the great master Wang Xizhi. Zhou selected exactly one thousand non-repeating characters and wove them into a masterpiece. The entire text is composed of four-character lines, totaling two hundred and fifty verses, rhyming flawlessly from beginning to end. It covers everything from astronomy, geography, and history to ethics, agriculture, and daily life. From the Tang dynasty onward, it served as an essential primer for children. Later, it joined Hundred Family Surnames and Three Character Classic to form the famous "Three, Hundred, Thousand" series of early education.
