Inkfish

Inkfish resemble cuttlefish, but have no bones and soft, pliant bodies. Taverns also sell a smaller variety known as "lock-tube," named for the long, slender inner shell that resembles the tongue of an old bronze lock.

Inkfish are naturally drawn to light. To catch them in large numbers, one must sail at night and lure them in with bright lanterns.
