In-Game Description
The Freshwater Clam is small and black, dwelling in muddy waters. The Tang Materia Medica records that it may "dispel seasonal ailments, stimulate the appetite, counteract the effects of elixir stones and boils, and expel dampness." It is a marine creature prized for both its medicinal virtue and its value at the table.
